Lou Shipley of General Catalyst (and former CEO of Black Duck) is a legend - A multi time successful tech CEO. An inspiring teacher. A sought after board member. A trusted mentor. A popular tech-market commentator, writer and speaker.
Lou graduated from Trinity College and earned and M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. He's had roles at Avid Technology WebLine Communications (acquired by Cisco), Recently he helmed Black Duck Software, acquired by Synopsys for $565 million.
Today, Lou serves as an executive-in-residence at General Catalyst, is on 6 boards, is a lecturer at MIT Sloan School of Management and the Harvard Business School, where he instructs, mentors, coaches the next generation of entrepreneurs.
